Ever since Jessica Simpson showed up at the Radio 99.9 Kiss Country’s Annual Chili Cookoff this past Sunday, the entertainment industry has been buzzing about her curvier form. And sister Ashlee Simpson is calling a halt to the unnecessary criticism.
In a blog entry titled “Since when did a woman’s weight become newsworthy,” the “Pieces of Me” songstress wrote, “A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure.”
