Now that she’s settling back into her normal life, Rihanna is said to be looking into some acting projects, one of which is a remake of the 1992 Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner flick “The Bodyguard.”
According to an insider, the “Take a Bow” songstress would play Houston’s role, putting a “young and sexy” spin on the character, while Channing Tatum is the frontrunner for Costner’s part.
A source told press, “Before the situation with Chris, Ri was getting a lot of scripts. She’s been wanting to do movies for a while now,” while her rep has said that nothing is set in stone.
In addition to her acting aspirations, Rihanna has been working on her new album, with two tracks already completed. If we’re lucky we may see a late 2009 release date.
